Always Look To Christ!

It's funny how lately I have been really easily depressed about every small thing. I was to the point where I didn't wanna be left alone because ever time I was I thought about all the sin's I had done or thought and the guilt was over whelming.

Then about 2 nights ago I was riding home with my dad from my Grandmas birthday party, and I was sharing with him some of these feeling...And he said. "look to Christ, if you look to yourself you can only go deeper, and find nothing better. That can be dangerous...Just look to Christ." And when he said "just look to Christ" I was sooo overwhelmed, I almost broke down and started to cry! It was so simple, look to Christ.

We make things so complicated when all we have to do is look to Christ for everything. God is so good! So for all you reading this..(and there's probably not many) I just wanted to encourage you to Always look to Christ! Put your care's on him. And never lean on your own understanding....=)

We as people tend to think of work as being one of Gods curses when Adam ate the fruit......But what is the First mention of God in the Bible???? He was working, creating. God loves to work...And what was Adams first thing to do as man, tend and keep the garden. But at that point there was no thrones no weeds. Imagine taking care of a garden where there was no problem. It was be fun!! If we where in that place I don't think we would even call it work....God is Pleased to see the human creature working! So get off your computer and go work!!! LOL! :P

How are we to be renewing our mind if we are copying and pasting everything? God gave us a gift of the brain, we are made in His image. But we as people are so use to taking peoples word for everything. Take peoples word, but then go and research,dig deep in Christ, found out for sure. We never know till we look, and Christ love's someone who is on fire for Him,searching Him out!

It's late... Ok well it's only 9 but it feels later. Anyway, I felt like throwing out what I thought God has been putting on my mind......(hope it makes scene)

Something I have been noticing lately is that when I have not been reading God's word, when I have not been thinking what's God's plan.....life sucks!! I feel like a kid who runs off and....has NO clue what to do after he's gone. And not until I return to God do I feel like I know what to do and what I can do to make my life more useful.....And I REALLY DO NOT like the feeling that I'm doing nothing to leave a mark of the cross on this word.
All this to say....Stay focused on what matters! Never lose sight of the true King and what he has planned!...(and read your Bible, everyday!!);)

What if someone very dear sent you a gift for your birthday, But it happens your birthday is not that day. And what if they asked you to not open it till your birthday. Let's say it's tomorrow. What if you opened it? What if you through it out? What if your dog got a hold of it?.....Then the big day came, all your friends where over, all happy that you hit the big 20! And then the person that sent you the gift come's in...And it hit's like a load of bricks, what you did...you weren't expecting them to come......How would you feel???.......More importantly how would He feel???

This is what I think about when I see people giving there heart and purity before marriage. God is not pleased when He see this. He gave us a gift. A Gift of purity, something the only your spouse can open. This is the same with the gift illustration. God gave you a gift, God said keep it till marriage, what have we done so may time's as a sinner. Through it out, act like it's nothing more then a dog treat. How could we do this to a loving God, who knew us before we where made. This gift is delicate...We can't take lightly.

Proverbs 4:23
"Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it."

Mark 7:21-22 "For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly."

God tell us to guard our heart as well.... Pleasing God is in heart soul and mind. This is much harder, and all the more important. Guarding our heart is not easy but God did not call us to have a nice easy life as a christian....But to transform this world=)

One of the thing's I find most sad about being hurt by some one is I could have (almost always) avoided it. How may time's have I been hurt and all along God was telling me (either through other people or by the Bible) DO NOT DO IT! And how many time have I ignored it? Why when I know how much God love's me, do I make His will an "after thought"?
Proverbs 3:5,6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

This seems to be a pattern in most Christian Cases....
Temptation>> Fail>> Repent>> Forgiveness==True Happiness in Christ!

Psalm 147:3
He heals the broken-hearted and binds up their wounds.

Psalms 84:11 "the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

But one of the best thing's is when I am forgiven! There's not many thing that feel better! How many people are in this world. And God called me.... How easy would it be for God to just forget me? All I know is God is so GOOD!

What is it about a cross that makes us think of Christ, and what he did for us. And why is it the most known symbol of a Christian. Why the cross?
Why not the fish with witch he feed 5,000, why not water with witch He cleans us and make us new, why not the wine witch reminds us of His everlasting covenant, why not bread that is broken every week to symbolize the breaking of Christ's body for us. Why The Cross?

1 Corinthians 15:3
"For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures."

Because of Christ Greatest deed we are all saved! Christ dying on the cross was His greatest blessing to us, the first importance. That Christ would be beaten, spit on and humiliated for us show's His undying love and grace for what He has created. Do you have this kind of love, undying? As people that is somthing we can only dream of. Having the Father you love with all your heart, soul and mind turn against you.....for us. That kind of love, not one person can earn.

Matthew 27:46: About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lima{TR reads "lama" instead of "lima"} sabachthani?" That is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Romans 8:3
"For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man."

I Believe this is why we as Christians have the Cross for our symbol, It reminds us of the love Christ showed on the cross. Reminds us of what He went through, pain, humiliation, rejected His love beat all!! forever.....thanks be to God!!!:D

Today we went to market. It was pretty hot , about 101 degrees. I was reading the "Princess Bride" the whole way there and back. I am about half way through the book. Well ok, I don't have much to say about the banquette. I had a lot off fun. So what's going on right know is....... yesterday Murren almost cut her toe off ,and to day William cut his foot on a sharp rock. It's getting so hot, Yesterday it about 100 Degrees. We have been at the Kruse's for 4 day's. We had a very miner debate, well not sooooo little( it was all on Christmas). But it was very neat I learned a lot. Well, today Jeb is three day's old. He's so awesome and I love him soooooo much. I can't wait till I get older and have my own baby or babies. I always did like the name Jeb, or Jebediah Victor Goldman. It's funny he has A tiny chin and big cheeks. And today we got a phone call saying that aunt Kelli had her baby a girl 4 pounds 13 ounces, Jeb was 9 pounds 4 ounces. Till next time and God bless.

Thank you Lord!!!!God is so good,it was a neat experience. I was so glad that I caught him, I didn't know they would let me catch him. They just said"ok, Anna get the baby". It was a very fast birth, I thought that it would be a 7 hour thing. But he came very fast he's so cute. Thank you so much Jennifer (the midwife), Aunt Jodi, Aunt Liisa, Daddy, Karissa (the photographer), Grandma and Grandpa ( for everything), and most of all LORD GOD almighty, for a safe birth...!!!

Well, for school we did, reading 20 pages, writing (a letter), music 30 min. math, typing, Bible, E.S.I. spelling, practices speech. It's been so much fun doing school with my mom she is great. My favorite sports are soccer and football. Not tackle football, just two hand touch. I love to write stories. Right now I am writing a series of stories the first book is called “The Cloud Kingdom.” The second book is called “Finding My Way Home.” I don't know the name of my 3^rd book, or even if there is going to be a 3^rd book. I love to be outside and run and jump. In my spare time I like to work in the garden and as I said write stories and play with my sisters and brothers. My favorite season is summer because we get to go to bluegrass festivals and meet other people. We travel in our trailer. I play several instruments, banjo, penny whistle, egg shaker and tambourine. I love to sing. I wrote a song called “Because He knows”. It's about all of creation looking forward to when Christ will return. When I grow up I want to live about a an half hour from town on about 4 acres. I want to live in a log cabin with at least 5 horses, 1 German Shepard and 2 Ridgebacks and a big garden. I want to have a Christian husband and lots of kids. I believe that God will take care of me and be with me through any hard times. He will strengthen me to be a hard working woman for Him. Trip to Tillamook Oregon

Our family in front of the Tillamook Cheese Factory. It was a lot of fun.
Mailee and Murren at the Tillamook cheese factory. The chunks of cheese you see weigh about 42 pounds. That would last for a while.
Here is me and my mommy. The water was freezing! That is why we are not in the water, but some of the family went in the water.
Me and Will would stand there when the waves were coming. He was scared they would be too big for us, but it was fun.
